[mrtg] problem with missed polls

Hello,

So far nobody has answered my mails, however I have found that the redhat 9 rpm 
is either broken or using a broken version of MRTG.  I have upgraded to 2.10.5 
compiled directly from good-old reliable source, and the strange peak problem 
is gone.
