What about the Juniper would require a newer version of MRTG? Perhaps new
snmp mibs or something related to SNMP, but MRTG just uses snmp as a tool
to grab/graph numbers from anything you point it at.

If you are using FreeBSD on your MRTG boxes consider using portupgrade:
