Mark,
You can use "--ifref=name" or "--ifref=descr" in your cfgmaker command to have the _1, _2 etc. replaced by the name or description of the interfaces.
If you want to replace the IP-address too you can use the name of your router with the cfgmaker command. (This obviously only works if you have some form of nameresolution running)
See the cfgmaker manual for more details: http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/mrtg/cfgmaker.html
Hth,
Jan.

Subject: [mrtg] HTML names
I am connecting to a cisco with multiple interfaces..100+...the HTML files are named...10.1.1.20_1,2,3,4 and so on and so forth. the 10. is the cisco and all of the otheres are the routers in the field. Is there a way to output different names for the html files?
Thanks,
Mark
