The only thing that comes in mind is the following (from the http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/mrtg/mrtg-reference.html)


Sometimes you are sitting on the wrong side of the link, and you would like to have mrtg report Incoming traffic as Outgoing and vice versa. This can be achieved by adding the '-' sign in front of the ``Target'' description. It flips the incoming and outgoing traffic rates.

But that only explains how to change the colours. I want to change the
way they are represented...  8-)

So still green for input, blue for output. But the blue should be
filled, and the green should be a line (the reverse of the standard).
