Hello,
I am having quite a difficult time monitoring memory utilization on a
Catalyst 6509 switch running a very old CISCO IOS- version 8.x.... I
have a .cfg file that I have entered for the following oids->

1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.8.0 (Free Memory) & 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.3.6.6.0 (Processor
RAM).

However, everytime I run the .cfg file using the Perl command, I always
get:

Received SNMP reposne with error code
error status: noSuchName
index 1 (OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.8.0)
ERROR: Target[x.x.x.x][_IN_] ' $target->[0]($mode) 'did not eval into
defined data
ERROR: Target[x.x.x.x][_OUT_] ' $target->[0]($mode) 'did not eval into
defined data

The weird thing is that I installed getIF and I verified that the MIBS
do exist! Why are these OIDs still unrecognizable???????

Do I need to specify an exact port number such as below (e.g. adding
different port numbers at the end of the OID):
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.8.1 (Port 1)
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.8.2 (Port 2)
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.8.3 ....and so on
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.8.4
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.8.5
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.8.6
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.8.9

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

         Wes
