[mrtg] Extract RRD Data

Hi All,

Is there an example\Script that I can refer to for extracting data out
of a RRD ?
E.g.
I want to extract\get the Traffic Rate for the Last 5 minutes from a RRD
that is storing the Traffic stats for a router interface.(ds.type =
COUNTER).
I have tried searching the mailing list but need some directions to
implement this.
