Michel,

It looks to me as if that should be --ifref=ip. I would bet
that, since there's no -- before ifref=ip, cfgmaker is interpreting
ifref=ip as the host name instead of metro827.

So change the end to  "--snmp-options=:::::2 --ipref=ip
metrobay at metro827" and I bet it works.
