Hi there,
I apologize in advance if this question has been asked before. I've been
pulling out my hair for over a week now (I am thus now bald) and I would
really appricate some advice here.
I would like to get mrtg to graph the values of a specific SNMP variable
in the Cisco RTTMON mib. I have no problem doing the query using snmpget
or snmpwalk, but when I construct a target for mrtg to monitor, I get an
error, which I don't understand.
bash-2.05# snmpget -v 2c -c public 212.189.28.62 \
rttMonLatestHTTPOperTCPConnectRTT.50
CISCO-RTTMON-MIB::rttMonLatestHTTPOperTCPConnectRTT.50 = Gauge32: 32
bash-2.05#
My mrtg.cfg file contains this target:
Target[ezwf]: rttMonLatestHTTPOperTCPConnectRTT.50:public at 212.189.28.62
MaxBytes[ezwf]: 10000
Title[ezwf] : test title
When I run mrtg, I get:
bash-2.05# cat /tmp/mrtglog

bash-2.05#
For one, I don't understand why it's polling ifInOctets and ifOutOctets.
I just want to graph rttMonLatestHTTPOperTCPConnectRTT.50.
What am I doing wrong?
Regards,
Marcel
