It really needs two values. It doesn't matter if you ignore the second value or just get 0 as value, but it needs 2 values.

Overhere we have several scripts that just report 1 value, so the first is always set to 0, so we have a nice line as graph.

There are 2 ways to do this.

- Get an snmp request that reports an 0 (ask the traffic of an unused port)
- Create an external script that reports:
  0
  latency figure
  uptime
  hostname

After this you configure mrtg to ignore the first value.
