Hi Ron,

MRTG won't poll less frequently than every five minutes, but if you'd like to see the data in aggregated in longer intervals (eg, every hour), you can change the resolution at which you fetch it using the -r flag.

Take a look at the "resolution interval" in the rrd fetch pages.

I am interested in decreasing the MRTG capture interval from the 5 minute
average to something smaller, perhaps one minute.  I have looked at the
documentation pages some and understand that I will need to use rrdtool to
do this; what I don't understand is how.  Any suggestions?
