Subject: [mrtg] monitor bandwidth on cisco router ?

Hello there everyone...

I am new to the list. I have known about mrtg for a long time now, but have only recently started config'ing it myself..

here is my situation, my company runs an noc center and we would like to monitor the bandwidth usage on our client lines. Most of the routers we would like to monitor are cisco 1600 series routers.

i have successfuly set it up on a one with IOS ver 11.. but i am unable to get it to work with routers with a newer IOS, i think the problem is in the way i setup snmp on the routers, i can connect to them and build a cfg file, but my problem is the i dont get any data, the all the graphs remain empty

i am using mrtg 2.9.17 on redhat linux

does anyone have any advice for me?

Thanks for your time,

Regards

Chris
