[mrtg] OID Question

Hi,
I have a quick question regarding the following OID, The description within the MIB is not that clear. If anyone has a better understanding hope he can share it.
 
The OID is from the LanMgr-Mib-II-MIB  MIB
 
    comStatFiNetIOs    1.3.6.1.4.1.77.1.1.6  
    Description according to the MIB :  The number of network I/O operations on this node that failed issue.
