[mrtg] Cisco interface desc not coming through to indexmaker?

I am strating to notice that my previous MRTG systm has stopped showing 
the full interface description when indexmaker build the index pages.

So if I HAVE:

interface GigabitEthernet1/4
  description HELIOS-to-ZEUS

And I do:

/usr/bin/perl /usr/bin/cfgmaker --no-down --show-op-down --ifref=descr 
--ifdesc=descr --subdirs=HOSTNAME --output=/etc/mrtg/configs/helios.cfg 
public at helios-r

and I get:

I will assume the error is between my old build script and cfgmaker???

What can I do to get "HELIOS-to-ZEUS" to be in the description again?
