hello
we use mrtg with  a
  3Com SuperStack 4 Switch 5500-SI
  28-Port Software Version 3Com OS V3.01.04s56

nearly all is fine, but:
  mrtg does not read out the ifAlias
(so we had to adapt mrtg.cfg, which makes us so deeply sad)

we can read it out with snmpwalk and snmpget
