[mrtg] MRTG Recommended Forks Setting

All,

What would you recommend for a forks setting? What do you base it on? 
There must be diminishing returns by using too many forks, or on a 
config that makes it unnecessary. What's a good rule of thumb for the 
number of forks to use?
