[mrtg] MRTG 's odd behaviour

I am using MRTG version 2.9.12 .Mr Mrtg is not plotting data for all
monitoring targets. If I restart mrtg script or remove .ok file and compile
then it start plotting for few hrs or a day. Then it again stuck. For e.g

 

The statistics were last updated Saturday, 11 February 2006 at 17:22,
at which time 'Switch' had been up for 27 days, 6:21:50.

This I think means it polling the targets but I don't know why mrtg behavior
is so odd. Some times my target's log files are also deleted If any body
knows or can give any clue regarding this then please help me.

 

Should I reinstall again..?
