First thing I would check is that /usr/locla/etc/mrtg/thresh exists and is
writeable by the user that runs your MRTG dameon.

Subject: [mrtg] Thresholds always warning

Hi,

	What would cause :

--base: start RRDtool section
--base: maxi:125000000, maxo:125000000
--log: Called: RRDs::tune(/usr/local/etc/mrtg/docs/c2924-1-transit.rrd -a
ds0:12
5000000 -a ds1:125000000 -d ds0:COUNTER -d ds1:COUNTER)
--log: Calling: RRDs::update(/usr/local/etc/mrtg/docs/c2924-1-transit.rrd,
'1136
579705:547175168:593810449')
--log: Called: RRDs::last()
--log: Called:
RRDs::fetch(/usr/local/etc/mrtg/docs/c2924-1-transit.rrd,'AVERAGE
','-s',1136579705,'-e',1136579705)
--log:   got: NaN/NaN
--base: Check for Thresholds
--dir: ensure path IN:  '/usr/local/etc/mrtg/thresh'
--dir: ensure path OUT: '/usr/local/etc/mrtg/thresh/'
WARNING: can't do threshold checking for target c2924-1-transit(i) -- No
valid c
urrent data

	It looks like its putting it in the RRD, and then not getting it
out.
This is from FreeBSD ports, MRTG 2.12.2,1 and rrdtool rrdtool-1.2.11 .

		Thanks, Tuc/TBOH
