Craig,
The quick answer is no, plain MRTG can not deal with decimal fractions.
However if you use rrdtool as backend and an appropiate frontend decimal numbers should be no problem.
If you don't want to use rrdtool the only way to display the decimal fraction is to multiply the value by some figure.
In case of a value of the type 'gauge' you can use 'Factor[...]: ' to multiply the figure you get from the script.
In case of a rate per second that is calculated by MRTG you can use the options 'peminute' or even 'perhour' to display low numbers.

Hello,
I am graphing DNS queries per second, but most of the time the servers receive very few. For example a figure of 0.78002855998603615 is being sent to MRTG via another script and others similar quite often.
Is it possible to force MRTG to calculate the figure to 1 or 2 decimal places? It is currently rounding it up to the nearest whole number.
