[mrtg] Issue with a Cisco 6509

I'm having a problem with MRTG and a recent IOS upgrade to my Cisco
6509. MRTG had been running flawlessly for about a year. Since the
upgrade, MRTG is collecting nearly the same bandwidth use for all the
6509s interfaces and it's entirely wrong. Other devices I'm trending
report what I expect.

I've upgraded to the latest MRTG release. In my config file I'm polling
by IP address rather than interface number (I've been burned by reboots)
and, as a test, I reverted to using the interface number but I get the
same incorrect results.=20

Our Cisco support team tells me the upgrade should not have caused a
problem and that the Cisco tools report proper use. Anyone have any
ideas?
