Without knowing the exact wording of the error I'll just toss out some
suggestions.  It would also be easier for us to diagnose the problem if you
emailed us a scrubbed portion of one of your config files.

Do you have SNMP enabled on your router?
Are you using the correct SNMP community string?
Do you have an access list / firewall rule blocking snmp to the device in
question?
