[mrtg] indexmaker(in mrtg v 2.12) no longer labels graphs correctly

I recently upgraded to MRTG 2.12 from 2.7 and discovered that indexmaker
no longer provides the same graph labels as before. The labels are now
in the form "GigabitEthernet1/1" whereas before they were much more
descriptive, e.g. "GigabitEthernet1/fssmo-208a (OAB)". They were
pulling the interface description we assigned to the port, now they just
list a number.

I've tried all the different options for the --section parameter (h1,
title, name, description, portname) but none reproduce the old style
labels.

Could this problem be with changes to cfgmaker? (The --descint option I
used previouly is no longer supported.)

Thanks,

James McGowan
