Tobi,

I agree with MrPaul in this. IMOH most people don't read the docs, so they don't tell cfgmaker to use snmpv2.
The result: Questions about graphing high speed links over and over again.

I don't know if the snmpv2 option with cfgmaker has other functions than invoking the 64bit counter check?
If not, I see no reason why cfgmaker should not use the snmpv2 option by default. For if it doesn't find any 64bit counters it will fall back to 32bit counters anyway.

Hi MrPaul,

cfgmaker will check for 64bit snmpv2 counters as soon as you tell it to use snmpv2 ... it will fall back to 32bit counters automagically if it does not find them.
