[mrtg] I don't get installing MRTG

hello

I have several problems to install MRTG and i feel frustrated.
when i write gunzip -c zlib-*.tar.gz | tar xf - in the command shell, it
gaves me a row of errors like those:

tar: zlib-1.1.4/README: No se puede open: No existe el fichero ó directorio
tar: Saltando a la siguiente cabecera
tar: zlib-1.1.4/FAQ: No se puede open: No existe el fichero ó directorio

tar: zlib-1.1.4/configure: No se puede open: No existe el fichero ó
directorio
tar: Saltando a la siguiente cabecera
tar: zlib-1.1.4/Makefile: No se puede open: No existe el fichero ó
directorio

tar: zlib-1.1.4/Makefile.in: No se puede open: No existe el fichero ó
directorio

tar: zlib-1.1.4/Makefile.riscos: No se puede open: No existe el fichero ó

it means like tar: "a name": it can't be opened. the file or directory
doesn't exist. Jumping to the next heading.
At the bottom of the huge list it says it is out with delay from  previous
errors

someone could tell me what i am doing wrong?
