Is it possible to read the rrd files created using RRDTool using Java API?
In my case, MRTG and RRDTool is running on a unix machine and i have been
using perl and cgi programming to read the rrd files. But now i would like
to use Java API to read the same rrd files and retrieve data but on a
windows machine. Is there a way to do this?
I tried with the JRobin API but looks like JRobin cannot manipulate the rrd
files created by rrdtool. JRobin can only create new rrd files and work on
them. I also read that the RRDTool's binary format is not cross-platform
portable. Does this mean that i cannot transfer the existing rrd files to a
windows machine and manipulate them?
Wish you a very Happy New Year!!!
