[mrtg] Problem with mrtg-rrd

Hello,

i'm using mrtg 2.16.2 with mrtg-rrd 0.7 (normal debian/lenny
repository). for the web presentation i use lighttpd but i tried apache
an got the same errror.
mrtg works without doubt and gather all the values of the configured
switches and routers and create/update the rrd files well.

if i open http://<serverip>/cgi-bin/mrtg-rrd.cgi the site open an i can
choose a device (i use the parameter "--subdirs=HOSTNAME") that will
open http://<serverip>/cgi-bin/mrtg-rrd.cgi/<routerip>/ and i can see a
site with all my configured interfaces and their graphs. everything
works well until now.

but if i choose an interface now (it open for example the url
http://<serverip>/cgi-bin/mrtg-rrd.cgi/<routerip>/<routerip>_se2_1.html)
it open a site with all the normal information (System, Maintainer,
iftype, etc.) as well as the bandwidth information in textual and the
graphs for weekly and monthly but not for daily and yearly (yearly is
clear because the mrtg just run for 4 hours).

if i now refresh the page (press f5 or something else) no graph is
shown. just the textual information what means that the rrd files are
accessible.

after that i can open the url abitrary often with no affect, the graphs
are not shown.

i took the url from the html source code and enter the graph directly,
and i can see a wonderful graph.

and now the question, what is creepy with my installation? :-)

i used several browsers (firefox 3.0.12, ie6, ie7, epiphany 2.26.1) and
several web servers lighttpd and apache. the behavior is in every
combination identical.

best regards,

tim
