I don't know if Tobias is still around, but -- would it be possible to
get an option like Forks:, but for the external program call?  If one
has multiple CPUs present and is being CPU-limited, it would be nice
to be able to utilize the multiple CPUs rather than having to do more
complicated things to improve performance.  Thanks!
