[mrtg] Does MRTG need Read-Write SNMP MIB permission or only Read permission is sufficient?

Hi all
Does MRTG need Read-Write permission MIB on SNMP agents  or only Read
permission is sufficient to work?
If I only set read permission for snmp agents, does MRTG work?
