Speaking of this, I've noticed that my Errors graphs are wrong also....
Here is relevant portion of the cfg:
------------------
### Interface 1 >> Descr: 'Serial0/0/0' | Name: 'Se0/0/0' | Ip: 'IP.IP.IP.IP' | Eth: '' ###
# Input/output errors for houston_1.err
#---------------------------------------------------------------------
Target[houston_1.err]: ifInErrors.1&ifOutErrors.1:public at houston: * 300
RouterUptime[houston_1.err]: public at houston:

------------------
We have another tool that records errors and I set up an snmpwalk for the ifInErrors to run at the same time as mrtg is run... Knowing this, here's what I've seen, the .log file 5min numbers (nor the graphs) count match what our other monitoring tool shows nor does it match the numbers returned by the snmpwalk.
So, I've tried changing the following:
Target[houston_1.err]: ifInErrors.1&ifOutErrors.1:public at houston: <---(took off the * 300)
Options[houston_1.err]: growright, nopercent, unknaszero, perminute
and I tried:
Target[houston_1.err]: ifInErrors.1&ifOutErrors.1:public at houston: <---(took off the * 300)
Options[houston_1.err]: growright, nopercent, unknaszero, perhour
...and the numbers STILL don't come close to matching. Any ideas???
One other thing, what are the fields in the .log file when running the above cfg file??
EXAMPLE:
1273182671 1039187 1
1273182671 0 0 0 0
1273182371 255 0 255 0
