An example of how to use mrtg-ping-probe. This makes use of the Routers2
extensions, if you have Routers2.

Target[junos-prod.its-ping]: `/u01/mrtg/bin/mrtg-ping-probe -p
'1000*max/1000*min' -s 10.21.5.212` / 1000000

Legend3[junos-prod.its-ping]: High Peak 5min RTT

Legend4[junos-prod.its-ping]: Low Peak 5min RTT

LegendI[junos-prod.its-ping]: High:

LegendO[junos-prod.its-ping]: Low:

routers.cgi*ShortName[junos-prod.its-ping]: Ping: RTT

routers.cgi*Options[junos-prod.its-ping]: nomax nototal scaled nopercent

routers.cgi*InCompact[junos-prod.its-ping]: no

routers.cgi*UnScaled[junos-prod.its-ping]: none

routers.cgi*Icon[junos-prod.its-ping]: clock-sm.gif

routers.cgi*UpperLimit[junos-prod.its-ping]: 0.01

Change this to fit your own requirements. Note the
routers.cgi*UpperLimit[] directive is to ensure proper scaling when RTT are
very low. The calculations in the Target[] are to ensure that the values
are in SI units (seconds) to three decimal places.

Subject: [mrtg] Using MRTG ping-probe with MRTG

Hello,

I'm trying to use MRTG Ping-Probe with MRTG. I have no idea how to get
started. I already have MRTG monitoring network traffic for 2000 devices.
Just don't know how to incorporate Ping-Probe. I've read the documentation
and still can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
