[mrtg] Installation problem

Thanks for response, and sorry for the delay.
I am running Red Hat Enterprise.
The installation was fine, I only delayed to configure cron, but now is 
fine . I  had to make an script and put the mrtg commanmd there, because 
putting mrtg command in cron didn't work.

You have left out so many details we need to provide serious help.
Linux distro?
What commands did you use to install libgd?  did you run ldconfig?  Does 
the linux distro you are running have a pre-made libgd to install(and/or a 
pre-made mrtg install?)?
