[rrd-developers] rrdtool-1.0.4 not compiling under RedHat6.0

RedHat 6.0, gcc version ecgs-2.91.66

Gives the following error:

gcc -g -O2 -Wall -pedantic -fPIC -I../zlib-1.1.3 -c pngmem.c
gcc: Internal compilor error: program cc1 got fatal signal 11
make[1]: *** [pngmem.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving Directory `/usr/local/contrib/rrdtool-1.0.4/libpng-1.0.3'
make: *** [libpng-1.0.3/librrd_png.a] Error 2

Has anyone else successfully compiled under RedHat 6?
