well the cvs archive is public and accessible ... I would like to
ramin judge over what goes in, but by working your code to the
current cvs and me approving things quickly (given I get a nice cvs
diff patch) this should be pretty efficient ...

however we slice it though, the parties doing development have to
talk and by posting your intentions to the developers list
preferably with interffaces and tech detail, everybody will be more
efficient ...

if folks are interested in actually committing time to writing
stuff for rrdtool (like Jake and Alex) I would even be prepared to
do some design documents to make sure projects do not clash ...
