[rrd-developers] New package: rrdman

Hi all,

I intend to start a new package called "rrdman" - utilities 
designed for RRD files manipulation.

The first one would be rrd_hwreapply, which is a part of RRFW now, 
a script that copies data from one RRD to another, and re-applies 
the holt-winters parameters.

New utilities will hopefully come. 

I plan to host its CVS and downloads as a RRFW subproject for now. 

The first version would be 1.1.0, in sync with the RRDtool version 
that it requires.

this will be autoconf/automake package, with configure script able 
to find the latest RRDtool version libraries and set up Perl's @INC
for finding RRDs.pm easily.

Your ideas/comments/contribs are warmly welcome.
