[rrd-developers] joining 2 RRD's together

hi.

I have run into a small problem .. I created a RRD a couple of months  
ago.. only to find out that the RRA definition inside of it
wasn't for a long enough period.

I have a backup of the RRD from a couple of months ago so I have  
access to the old data in it..


is there a tool out there which will fix the RRA definition  
(rrdresize does this bit) and then put all the old data back into it?

I'm guessing using rrdexport on both of them.. then some fiddling  
with the xml might be the answer.. I just hope someone else
has written a tool to do it.
