Hi Sam,
since rrdtool typesets on a line by line basis, such an attribute
would have to be set at the start of a line ...
the could be an ALIGN: command
ALIGN:left
ALIGN:right
ALIGN:center
ALIGN:justified
whenever this is called, the 'glue behaviour would change ...
