[rrd-users] inserting historical data to rrdtool

I'm trying to insert historical data that have into rrdtool.  And i get
an error, "ERROR: illegal attempt to update using time 966279300 when
last update time is 966280063 (minimum one second step)".  I understand
why, because there is infact a negative step.  so i guess i see what's
happening.  But i have the actual values that i want inserted they don't

have to be calculated but i also don't want to dump and restore because
I'll lose data then.  If that's what i comes down to.  Okay, but i would

like to avoid it.  Thanks for your help.
