[rrd-users] Abnormal Spikes?

Okay, so I've been using rrd for a few months and currently update
about 15,000 rrds every 5 mins. Everything is fine except when
I start getting these abnormal dips and spikes sometimes during a
day. Questioning the data I was inserting I started logging exactly
what I was sending to update. Attached you will see a graph demonstrating
one of these unexplainable spikes.

The data in which the spike is graphed from looks is :

<!-- 2000-01-09 09:35:00 GMT --> <row><v> 6.5955833333e+04 </v></row>

Here is my log of what I _actually_ feed rrd for that time frame:

Sun Jan  9 09:23:11 2000 [18593]: Global = N:26341
Sun Jan  9 09:33:11 2000 [26028]: Global = N:25057
Sun Jan  9 09:38:06 2000 [29585]: Global = N:24267
Sun Jan  9 09:43:07 2000 [ 3048]: Global = N:23633

Now why on earth is that spike present in the rrd?

I'm using rrd 1.0.3 on UE5k, Solaris 2.6.

Thanks,
Cliff
