hmmm ... lets try again :
100x400 the pixels at position 300 and 301 show the following
data values 100 and 20...
100x200 the pixel at position 150 shows the following data (100+20)/2 = 60
so while the first graph will show values between 0 and 100, the second one
will show values between 0 and 60 ...
