[rrd-users] More on Price Graphs :)

Hi All,
 
   I'd like to apologise for confusion regarding my email headings - I 
am kosher, but to get around having multiple e-mail accounts, I do 
some funny stuff :)

   Thanks for all your help so far - I now have nice price graphs 
getting produced (subject to graph design).

  However, now I am reaching performance issues. I have about 6000 
different graphs... and at what would appear to be a large fraction 
of a second per invocation, it seems unscalable for my purposes.

  Question - is there a way to invoke RRDTOOL and feed command lines in such as:

  rrdtool <<EOF
  create x.rrd ...
  update x.rrd ...
  graph  x.gif ...
  create y.rrd ...
  update y.rrd ...
  graph  y.gif ...
  EOF

  I could go to some binding to the shared libraries, but this should 
be less brittle.
