[rrd-users] problem with router.cgi, mrtg and rrd

when I run router.cgi through my web browser I get the following error:

Error reading RRD database /usr/local/lib/rrd/ 
'/usr/local/lib/rrd/' is not an RRD file

anybody has any incite on this problem.
