[rrd-users] create question

Hi to all:

I'm new to rrdttool and I have created a rrd base that stores the concurrence
about one of my webservers.
I need to collect the data between 60 seg, so I have created this rrd:

--step = 60
--start = (I have logs from 2 months ago)
"DS:concurrent:GAUGE:60:U:U"
"RRA:MAX:0.5:1:525600"   

I need to store one year of data. (60minx24hsx365days=525600)

Could you tell me if this configuration is okey if I need to graph 
weekly, montly or yearly?

I have seen some configurations that uses varios RRA for the same
data source, but I don't understand why is needed?
