[rrd-users] join rrd files

Hi all,
need to join two or more rrd files.

I thought to
1) create final archive with proper size

2) fetch all values from first archive
2b) join in a big string all timestamps with values ( -t timestamp:val1:val2
)
2c) update the final archive

3) fetch all values from second archive
3b) join in a big string all timestamps with values ( -t timestamp:val1:val2
)
3c) update the final archive

The problem is : I can't success in updating more than one value at a time

Help
