[rrd-users] Illegal Attempt to Update

Hi:

I've got approximately 1400 targets that I'm monitoring in conjunction
with MRTG.  Well, last night we did a move  and were down for
several hours.  Now when I attempt to start mrtg I get the following
error.  I'm sure this is probably a FAQ question, but I haven't seen a
FAQ.

ERROR: Cannot update /home/mrtg/work/192.168.1.0_1.rrd with
'970294567:1979643055:2538192919' illegal attempt to update using time 9
70294567 when last update time is 981528748 (minimum one second step)

How do I correct this without losing an entire six months of history?

I'd appreciate any help.  rrdtool 1.0.28 and mrtg 2.9.4.  help....
