[rrd-users] newbie question:

hi all:

created a rrd with one gauge DS and one AVERAGE. Updated it. but when I do a
fetch or dump and look at the output, the values turn up being of the form
-1.#INDxxxxxxxxx -E00 or something similar. shouldn't i be seeing either a
NaN or the data that I in
what am i doing wrong? i am inputting only integers into my gauge.

any help appreciated
