Assumption: when you say not all sata series have values you mean that one
or more are undefined

Have you tried setting undef values to 0?

Subject: [rrd-users] Errors in graph generation.

Hi,
We are using rrdtool-1.0.28 on Linux
Sometimes a graph which is generated from 4 rrd's have the errors shown in
the attach.
This happens when not all the 4 data series have values.

The parameters are:
        --vertical-label 'recipients'
        --height 250 --width 560
        DEF:qmta1=XX1/cpstatus.rrd:rcptqueue:AVERAGE
        DEF:qmta2=XX2/cpstatus.rrd:rcptqueue:AVERAGE
        DEF:qmta3=XX3/cpstatus.rrd:rcptqueue:AVERAGE
        DEF:qmta4=XX4/cpstatus.rrd:rcptqueue:AVERAGE
        CDEF:all=qmta1,qmta2,qmta3,qmta4,+,+,+
        'AREA:qmta1###COLOR1##:mta1'
        'STACK:qmta2###COLOR2##:mta2'
        'STACK:qmta3###COLOR3##:mta3'
        'STACK:qmta4###COLOR4##:mta4'
        'GPRINT:all:AVERAGE:all queues=(%.0lf,\g'
        'GPRINT:all:MAX:%.0lf,\g'
        'GPRINT:all:LAST:%.0lf)'

RRA's are GAUGE.
The problem is the small red line "falling" of the graph.

TIA
