[rrd-users] Compile Problems HPUX

Hi,

I'm tring to compile rrdtool for HPUX 11.  I get this error during the
make..

Running Mkbootstrap for RRDs ()
        chmod 644 RRDs.bs
        rm -f blib/arch/auto/RRDs/RRDs.sl
        LD_RUN_PATH="" ld  -b -s -a shared RRDs.o -L../src/.libs/
-lrrd_private -lm -o blib/arch/auto/RRDs/RRDs.sl
ld: Can't find library: "rrd_private"
*** Error exit code 1

Stop.

There is a library in th src directory
librrd_private.la

Maybe the '.la' suffix is a problem?

Does anyone have any idea how to proceed from here?  I tried using the
HP compiler, then I switched to gcc.  Both produce the identical error.
