Ah, this indeed wasn't clear to me.

Hmm, strange. Are you using the newest version?
What is going wrong exactly?
After upgrading to the newest version on both platforms (if necessary):
What happens if you restore a file that has been created on the sparc?
Could it be that there are infinite values in the database?
