Hi, everybody,
I have been configuring NRG to obtain DNS stats graphs under Linux Red
Hat 6.2 . Everything worked fine until I reached nrg-bindstatsd perl script.
I have configured it for my system setting this variables:
$pid_file = '/var/run/named.pid';
$named_stats = '/var/log/named.stats';
But when I run the script, it doesn't report anything and kills my DNS
server.
I have tried to make:
kill -ILL <namen_pid>
and
kill -IOT <named_pid>
with exactly the same results. The file /var/log/named.stats is not
rewritten and DNS servers shuts down. I am working with bind-9.2.0.
¿Can anybody help me or give me any hint?
Thanks a lot in advance.
