You don't have make installed or it is not in your $PATH

do a
	rpm -qa | grep make
to see if it comes up with something.

However when I try to compile rrdtool using the command "make" as
instructed from the compiling web page,  I get the following error

Making all in cgilib-0.4
sh: make: not found
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all-recursive'

Anybody know what this means.... Am I missing something?
