Your best option is to use ntop (www.ntop.org).
Make sure you use the latest version, there have a lot of bugfixes
lately.

Subject: [rrd-users] current connections !
Hi
I run MRTG and it works fine. I can monitor the traffic on the router
Inbound and Outbound.
Sometimes my Outbound/Inbound spikes to maximum of the bandwidth. And I
m
not able to findout why in my local lan is eatingup the bandwidth.
Is there any way to find out which are the current connections (ie.,
source
and destination Ip address) which are using the bandwidth.
-Ravi !
